The competency map task force

The new map has been informed by the best available evidence and extensive consultations that our Competency Map Task Force has undertaken over two years with more than 3,100 employers, educators, students, and CPA members across the country. It also is supported by various CPA Canada resources and the profession’s Foresight Initiative.

Established in 2020, the CMTF is comprised of seven members plus a chair, appointed by the provincial/regional CPA bodies, and includes representation from industry, public practice, public sector, and academia.
