Susan Cruickshank
Susan is a Tax Senior Manager at BDO Canada LLP in Kincardine, ON. Her practice focuses on owner-managed business, with extensive experience in farm and business succession planning, estate and post-mortem planning, and complex reorganizations. Susan has been a tutor for CPA Canada’s Income Tax for the General Practitioner course for several years.
Susan graduated from Georgian College’s accounting program, receiving the CGA Award Excellence for the highest GPA in the accounting stream. She then pursued her CGA and Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University. Susan is a member of CPA Canada and the Canadian Tax Foundation. She is the past-president and secretary of the Kincardine Rotary Club. She is a recognized tax specialist and contributor in the networking community MAW, which has 12,300 members representing women from all industries across Canada. She was invited to be a panelist with other MAW leaders at CPA Ontario’s 2022 Women in Action Conference.
