Robert Marsh

Based in Vancouver, Rob is a partner in the National Accounting and Assurance Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and a member of PwC’s global network of accounting specialists.

Rob chairs PwC’s global working group on International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 13 Fair Value Measurement and is an active member of the global financial instruments topic team, the leader of the Canadian financial instruments topic team, and belongs to working groups on the derecognition of financial instruments, hedging, debt and equity instruments, leasing, the conceptual framework and IFRS 9 Financial Instruments.

Rob is consulted on complex accounting matters by internal and external clients from across Canada and other parts of the world, and shares knowledge not only on IFRS but also on U.S. GAAP, Canadian accounting standards for private enterprises and regulatory matters.
