Jon Lukomnik

Forbes calls long-time institutional investor Jon Lukomnik one of the pioneers of modern corporate governance. Jon is the managing director of Sinclair Capital and a member of Deloitte U.S.'s Audit Quality Advisory Committee. His most recent book is "Moving Beyond Modern Portfolio Theory: Investing That Matters."

Jon has been the investment advisor or a trustee for more than $100 billion in institutional assets under management and has consulted to institutional investors with aggregate assets of nearly a trillion dollars. He is an independent member of the Deloitte U.S. Audit Quality Advisory Committee and chair of the audit committee at the Van Eck mutual funds. He was previously a member of the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, a long-time officer of the Council of Institutional Investors, and the Pembroke visiting professor in International Finance at the Judge Business School at Cambridge. Jon was a founder of the International Corporate Governance Network and has served for more than a decade as the executive director of the IRRC Institute, where he commissioned more than 80 studies examining corporate governance and the capital markets.
