Glenn Sawyer

The national director for IoT digital transformation at SAP Canada, Glenn is a 20-plus-year tech industry veteran and a trusted advisor to companies in oil and gas, utilities, mining and manufacturing. In that role, he helps businesses find new efficiencies in their operations using emerging digital technologies.

Glenn joined SAP Canada in 2010 and today leads a team developing solutions in IoT, machine learning and artificial intelligence that are focused on improving people’s lives and transforming the way the world works. Collaborating with a range of organizations from large enterprises to small municipalities, he has gained vast knowledge in how the digital ecosystem improves productivity, what it takes for businesses to succeed in the new economy, and what positively impacts people. Prior to SAP, Glenn launched two successful tech startups. He is a regular event speaker, sharing his industry knowledge at trade shows and conferences.
