Dominic Belley

Dominic is a tax litigator. He has appeared as lead counsel in civil, criminal and constitutional matters in more than 100 cases representing clients in seven of Canada’s 10 provinces. He argued four cases before the Supreme Court of Canada between 2012 and 2017.

His areas of practice include income tax, goods and services tax, fuel tax, collection measures, access to tax information, judicial review and rectification.

He teaches tax law at the University of Sherbrooke and the Quebec Bar and has published and given speeches in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and France.

Dominic has law degrees from McGill University.
