Malik Datardina, CPA, CA, CISA is the Governance, Risk and Compliance Strategist for Auvenir. Malik has over 20 years of experience in audit data analytics (ADAs), risk and assurance, and information security governance.
At the University of Waterloo, he developed a hands-on course teaching ADAs to students and currently teaches audit innovation and technology related concepts to Masters of Accounting students.
Malik also has a wealth of knowledge in the audit innovation space exploring the impact of exponential technologies on the profession. He was featured on a CPA Ontario’s Future Forward podcasts discussing how blockchain has transformed the ‘business of trust’. Malik volunteers on CPA Canada's Audit Data Analytics Committee, Audit & Assurance Technology Committee, and Technology Advisory Committee.
