Armando Iannuzzi

Armando joined KRP in 2009, becoming the firm’s second tax partner two years later. He now directs and manages the tax department and is also the co-managing partner of the firm.

Armando has extensive experience as both an advisor and an entrepreneur. Following a storied career as an owner-entrepreneur and having been on “both sides of the fence,” Armando has a thorough understanding of the technical and practical challenges faced by his business clientele. He has wide-ranging expertise in corporate and personal tax planning, cross-border taxation, estate and trust planning, and complex corporate reorganizations. His deep familiarity with all aspects of business ownership informs the direct, hands-on approach he instills in his tax team.

 Armando has won accolades for his involvement in the national tax community, having taken on multiple leadership positions in a short period of time. He has tutored various levels of the In-Depth Tax Course as well as the Income Tax for the General Practitioner course for CPA Canada and has carried out numerous speaking engagements for the CPA, Russell Bedford International and several major banks. A valued mentor and trusted voice on taxation, he has written for several publications and been quoted extensively by the media.

Armando graduated with his CA in 2003. In the past he has served on the Advisory Committee for the CPA National Conference on Income Taxes and is also a member of CPA’s Income Tax Education Committee. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
