CPA legislation proclaimed in Newfoundland and Labrador

Proclamation marks the beginning of CPA Newfoundland and Labrador. The months ahead will be focused on establishing the operations of the new organization, and enhancing the way it meets its legislative and strategic objectives.


On January 9, 2015, CPA Newfoundland and Labrador was formally established by proclamation of The Chartered Professional Accountants and Public Accountants Act (Newfoundland and Labrador). Members can now use the CPA in conjunction with their legacy designation.

CPA Newfoundland and Labrador will represent more than 1,400 members and over 200 candidates.
