Three Saskatchewan bodies sign Joint Venture Agreement

SK Joint Venture Agreement details how SK bodies will work together to deliver CPA certification program, merge operations and deliver services to members.

On October 16th, ICAS, CMA Saskatchewan and CGA Saskatchewan announced that they have signed their Joint Venture (JV) Agreement, a major milestone towards unification of the accounting profession in that province.
 
The JV agreement details how the three SK bodies will work together to:

  • provide services such as professional development, networking opportunities and advisory services to CAs, CMAs and CGAs in Saskatchewan;
  • oversee the regional delivery of the CPA certification program;
  • develop all aspects of the strategic and business plans for the joint venture and CPA Saskatchewan; and
  • merge the operations of the three organizations.
