CA and CMA bodies in Nova Scotia welcome the return of CGA bodies to discussions

ICANS and CMA NS welcome return of CGA bodies to unification.

The leadership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia and of CMA Nova Scotia, Bermuda and the Caribbean issued member announcements last week welcoming the return of CGA-Canada along with its international affiliates in Asia and the Caribbean, and CGA bodies in the Northwest Territories/Nunavut, Yukon, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, to unification discussions.

ICANS and CMA NS see the announcement as a positive development in the unification of the profession in Nova Scotia and nationally. ICANS and CMA Nova Scotia will continue to move forward on the unification efforts underway and will bring CGA-NS up-to-date on the progress of the merger, as the bodies consider next steps in the unification process. Nova Scotia members will be updated as developments occur.
