If you live in the United States and are a member of CPA Canada in good standing, you are eligible for full membership in the ACAUS.

Networking is an important part of a professional accountant's business and social life, especially when you are in a foreign country.

As a member of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), you are entitled to complimentary membership in the Association of Chartered Accountants in the United States (ACAUS) to enjoy the many benefits they offer.

About ACAUS

With over 7,000 members, ACAUS operates through 18 chapters across the U.S. from Honolulu to New York and from Boston to Los Angeles. Some are large (New York has 1,800 members) — some small (Nashville & Utah have just five members). A chapter meeting is never far away from you.

To connect and facilitate the professional success of members and, in so doing, promote the business community’s recognition of, and respect for, these professionals across the U.S. and the world.

  • to act as an in person and virtual network for our members
  • to facilitate business networking and provide opportunities for social interaction among members
  • to enhance public understanding and perception of the designation in the U.S.
  • to advocate for mutual recognition of institute qualifications and build relationships with other U.S.-based organizations

Founded in 1980, ACAUS is a non-profit professional and educational organization dedicated to providing benefits to qualified accountants from seven Commonwealth Institutes with members in the U.S.
