Canadian performance reporting board (CPRB)

CPA Canada's Canadian Performance Reporting Board (CPRB) is a volunteer board providing critical advice to CPA Canada on strategic priorities for research, guidance and thought leadership initiatives related to corporate reporting.

Board membership

The CPRB is comprised of a broad cross-section of professionals with relevant expertise and experience in corporate reporting and securities regulation. Members share our commitment of making a positive difference for CPA Canada and the world.

The board provides CPA Canada with support, expertise, advice and connections to deliver high-quality thought leadership and guidance to support our members.

Frequency of meetings

The Board meets at least three times a year or as needed and agreed upon by all members.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the board include:

  • advise on market needs and opportunities in corporate reporting
  • identify and assess business, market and industry trends in Canada and globally-impacting corporate reporting practices
  • consider recommendations and offer advice on a broad range of issues relevant to CPA Canada's work in external reporting, including research activities, guidance development, education initiatives and responses to consultations
  • support CPA Canada in developing appropriate non-authoritative guidance material
  • raise awareness of CPA Canada's existing and new resource offerings
