Joint Committee on Taxation of the CBA and CPA Canada

Through the Joint Committee on Taxation, Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) collaborates with the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) to offer the federal government input on tax laws.

For more than 70 years, this collaboration of CPA Canada and the Canadian Bar Association has regularly offered input to the Department of Finance on the technical aspects of new tax legislation. We also suggest improvements to simplify and improve current tax laws.
