(6-month contract with possibility of becoming permanent) CPA Canada is the national organization representing the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) profession in Canada. Education Services provides high quality, relevant and accessible educational programming to members, students, internationally trained professionals and business professionals. The group includes experts in both subject matter and instructional design who shape the future of the accounting profession by managing education and examinations for qualification as a CPA and for CPA Canada's Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance. The Opportunity The Exam Administrator will be responsible for the Continuing Education item banking management and coordination; exam booklet printing/shipping/USB key formatting; candidate response retrieval and reconciliation; marking centre management; results appeals and administration for assigned examinations. The Examination Administrator – Education Services will report directly to the Supervisor, Exam Administration. In this role, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create paper and electronic versions of exam, Securexam files and coordinate with Continuing Education Test exam files, post for student download and delete once exams end Reconcile candidate responses with attendee lists and investigate missing files Obtain exam appeal requests and transfer to appropriate staff member Create exams in Marking centre management system including candidates and marker profiles Prepare template and marking guides for case studies Upload candidate responses in the marking centre management system Coordinate and process CPA Canada honour roll certificates by coordinating between regional offices and CPA Canada. Other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization The Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: University or College degree Previous experience or understanding of workflow projects Exposure to examination assessment procedures and processes Ability to coordinate multiple projects, meet deadlines and document procedures Proven analytical, organizational and time management skills Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to work outside normal 9-5 hours (includes weekends) Other matters This position is based in Toronto.
