Bilingual Data Maintenance Representative - Member Development and Support (Toronto)

CPA Canada is seeking to add a key position to our Member Development and Support department.

CPA Canada is the national organization representing the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) profession in Canada.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Member/Customer Service in the Member Development and Support department, the Data Maintenance Representative supports the maintenance and integrity of the corporate database. This role is responsible for processing numerous EDI files from provincial and regional EDI partners, while also supporting the integrity of our data through various views and processes in the corporate database. This role also supports the customer service team by providing bilingual support during higher volume periods.

In this role, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process EDI files from provincial and regional EDI partners within established timelines
  • Analyze and process EDI file exception reports within required timelines
  • Provide feedback on the EDI process and assist with EDI testing as required
  • Process employment updates for members and students
  • Run established daily correction views to support database integrity and be proactive by initiating the creation of new views
  • Assist Manager with special projects that involve stakeholder data verification, correction and examination within the corporate database
  • Process changes to customer/member/student/firm and employer accounts
  • Verify accuracy of profile information during live calls
  • Provide bilingual support to the customer service team during higher volume periods.
  • Adhere to our service level agreements to provide best in class customer service

The candidate

  • Bilingual - English and French – written/spoken
  • College or university degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in navigating/updating a membership database
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience in high volume customer service , providing support over the phone and email
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with a pleasant and approachable personality
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain high customer service standards and comply with the approved Service Level Agreements
