CPA Canada has provided feedback on the Department of Finance’s August 14, 2012 consultation draft on legislative proposals for various amendments to Canada’s Income Tax Act. The proposals would implement a range of tax measures from Economic Action Plan 2012 — A Plan for Jobs, Growth and Long-Term Prosperity.

Developed by the Joint Committee on Taxation of the Canadian Bar Association and CPA Canada, this submission paper responds to the government’s planned tax law changes, and provides several constructive recommendations to improve their effectiveness.
