CPA Canada has provided feedback to Finance Canada about its Notice of Ways and Means motion to amend certain aspects of the Income Tax Act and income tax regulations. The measures were announced in the March 4, 2010 federal budget. Developed by the Joint Committee on Taxation of the Canadian Bar Association and CPA Canada, this May 3, 2010 submission paper raises a variety of concerns about the proposals, and offers several constructive recommendations to make them more effective.
