The Canada Revenue Agency’s increased auditing of NFPs to identify and address cases of abuse of tax exempt status has involved issuing these organizations “education letters” about their level of compliance with tax laws. CPA Canada is making this letter available so that members are aware of the chamber’s effort to explain to the federal government the impact of its NFP research and education program.
