BIOGRAPHY

Stephan joined the CPA Canada Board of Directors in January 2013.

He has been active in the financial industry for over 28 years and has been a guest speaker for various organizations, including the Desjardins Group and the Chamber of Commerce.

Stephan was recently appointed vice-president of business development at Lombard Odier Management (Canada) Inc. Previous management positions include:

  • investment advisor, Desjardins Securities (2005-2013)
  • director of asset management, Desjardins Group (1999-2005)
  • investment advisor, National Bank Securities, Paris (1997-1999)
  • director of corporate finance, Desjardins Group (1991-1997)
  • director of personal banking, CIBC (1991-1997)
  • financial advisor at Trust Prêt et Revenu (1986-1991)

Stephan has been involved as a member or chair of several boards and committees. The most recent include: chair of the Ordre des CGA du Québec (and subsequently chair of the Ordre des CPA du Québec), chair of the Centre Hospitalier Courchesne, and member of the Institut québécois de planification financière.
