As a member of the CPA Canada Board of Directors, N. Thomas Conyers helps CPA Canada achieve our key objectives, and provides direction for governance and management.

Tom joined the CPA Canada Board of Directors in January 2013.

He began his career in Toronto with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1977, and later joined the Bermuda firm in 1984, where he held various positions, including senior partner, co-managing partner and, finally, risk management partner. He retired from the firm in 2012.

Tom has been active in his community and the profession, serving on various committees, sub-committees and boards. His current positions include:
  • Bank of Bermuda Foundation, vice-chair and chair of the Audit Committee
  • TCS Foundation, member of the Audit and Finance Committee, chair of the Audit sub-committee
  • CPA Canada, chair of the Audit Committee
