Biography

Greg joined the CPA Canada Board of Directors in September 2013.

He has been a partner with Grant Thornton LLP since 1986, working at both the Halifax (until 1988) and Toronto (1988-present) offices. In his current role as an assurance partner, Greg is the national leader of the public companies segment of his firm.

Greg served as chair of Grant Thornton’s Board of Governors for two terms (2009-2011) and was a member of the board for six years.

He has also served on the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants Council (2005-2012) as both vice-chair (2008-2010) and chair (2010-2012).

Greg has been active in church and community affairs. He has served on the Federal Liberal Party Audit Committee and acted as chief agent of various political campaigns.
