Grades 7/8: Budgeting and expenses

Students will learn about the importance of making choices between needs and wants, and the rewards of staying within a budget.

Time frame: 60 min

Learning objectives for students:

  • budgeting is about making choices between needs and wants
  • staying on or under budget reaps positive rewards
  • they are in charge of choices, but must be aware of making them
