Click what you like to get what you want

The era of customization puts you in the driver’s seat. Update your personal preferences on the CPA Canada website by Nov. 30 and be automatically entered into the Get Only the Content You Want! contest.

When you update your preferences on the CPA Canada website, all your communications, including Member News, will be personalized just for you. You’ll also be able to select the communications you want to receive.

Need proof? Have a look at these two versions of the September Member News enewsletter [PDF].

  • Topics selected for version 1 include Management Accounting and Strategy & Governance.
  • Topics selected for version 2 include Tax and CPA Profession News.
As you can see, the two versions are very different and correspond to selected topics. In fact, each recipient’s version of Member News is unique. The same applies to the just-launched, dynamically driven enewsletter PD Events and Guide.

To enter the contest, update your CPA Canada preferences by Nov. 30. You could win a Lenovo tablet.

By updating your interests and subscriptions in the CPA Canada Preference Centre, you will:
  • Improve communications from CPA Canada: Everything you receive in your inbox will be based on the topics and interests you select.
  • Reduce email: The subscriptions section of the Preference Centre allows you to select the communications you’d like to receive.

  1. Visit My Account and register or login.
  2. Personalize the preferences assigned to your profile. The topics and professional development opportunities that interest you will be used to customize Member News and CPA Canada’s new PD Events and Guide.

This two-and-a-half-minute video will walk you through the updating process.

Updating your preferences is one thing, but we’d also like to hear directly from you. Does the information we’re providing in Member News meet your expectations? Are there other topics we should explore?

Please send us a message and we’ll table it at our next editorial team meeting.
