CPA Canada seeks new vice-chair

CPA Canada is seeking a vice-chair for its Board of Directors to oversee the forward-looking agenda of the national CPA organization. The nomination and application period is now open.

In accordance with CPA Canada by-laws, the Nominating and Governance Committee has initiated a search for a vice-chair of the CPA Canada board of directors. The new vice-chair will take office for the two-year period commencing immediately following the annual general meeting in September 2017 and ending immediately after the annual general meeting in September 2019.

Following this term, the vice-chair may become a nominee for board chair for the two-year period commencing immediately following the annual general meeting in September 2019. Succession is not automatic, but customarily the vice-chair does become a candidate for chair. As such, candidates who can make a four-year commitment are sought.

All nominations/applications for this position are due by February 28, 2017.
