Tax Ombudsman: Resolving CRA service issues

Have you been treated unfairly by the Canada Revenue Agency? Find out how you can file a complaint with Office of the Taxpayers’ Ombudsman

If you feel that you have been treated unfairly by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or are not getting the service you need, and have been unable to resolve the issue with the CRA, you can file a complaint with Office of the Taxpayers’ Ombudsman (OTO).

The OTO’s mandate is to uphold the eight service rights identified in Canada’s Taxpayer Bill of Rights and to help ensure that you get fair treatment and professional service from the CRA. A webinar from the OTO explains how the OTO can assist you, how to file a complaint and what to expect once your complaint is filed.
