Tax research and writing: Pilot course delivers hands-on training

The tax research and writing skills training session of our In-Depth Tax Course has proven to be so popular that we have created a standalone version for tax professionals.

One of the most popular elements of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada)’s revamped In-Depth Tax Course is the session designed to equip students with tax research and writing skills. CPA Canada has decided to pilot-test the idea of offering a standalone version of this session to tax professionals to develop or refresh their tax research and writing techniques.

Delivered through a blend of lectures, exercises and discussion, this one-day course will follow a tax research case study from problem to solution, giving students opportunities to apply their newly acquired skills in a practical situation.

The pilot version of this course was held on December 9, 2013 in Toronto.
