TORONTO, December 7, 2016 – TELUS received the top honour amid multiple wins at the Awards of Excellence in Corporate Reporting, presented annually by Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). \nTELUS is a traditional powerhouse at the awards, regularly receiving recognition from the judges in numerous categories and has now received the Overall Award of Excellence in Corporate Reporting seven times in the past nine years. \nIn presenting the awards, CPA Canada recognizes the important role high quality reporting plays within the Canadian economy and in the stability of the global financial system. The information contained in corporate reports can drive key investment and business decisions.
