Android or iPhone?

The Android is the most-used phone among CPAs in nearly all age groups and regions, according to our latest reader poll.

Nearly twice as many Canadian CPAs and CPA students use an Android smartphone (59%) as an iPhone (34%), according to our latest reader poll. The Android is the most-used phone among respondents in all age groups and regions, except for those who work in public practice, where half use an iPhone and one-third use an Android. Just 8% overall use a BlackBerry, although that jumps to 22% for respondents between the ages of 40 and 54. Most of you say your smartphone is primarily for personal use (64%), while 31% use it equally for both work and personal reasons. As for phone size, 75% of respondents under 30 use an extra-large smartphone (5.5 inches or larger), compared with just 36% overall.
