Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall recently called Quebec’s efforts to block or delay the Energy East pipeline divisive. “Enough is enough. Saskatchewan and Western Canada has to protect its own interest and send some strong messages,” said Wall in March. Just another example of the tension that can exist between Canada’s distinctive regions.
