Poll of the month: forgoing the distance — September 2015

In our latest reader poll, we took a look at the average time CPAs spend commuting to work.

The average CPA’s trip to work is a fairly reasonable jaunt, according to the results of our latest reader poll. The vast majority (78%) of you travel to work by car, with most (56%) facing a commute of 30 minutes or less. About a quarter (28%) travel between 30 and 60 minutes to get to work, while 16% commute more than an hour each way. Slightly more than half of you (53%), however, completely dispense with the back and forth of a commute at least some of the time by working from home. For more stats on business commutes, see Commuter challenge.
