Poll of the month: Hours of fun — October 2014

Check out the results of our poll on work-related correspondence between colleagues during nonwork hours.

Last month, we looked at your email/phone habits and found that more than half of you typically handle work-related correspondence during nonwork hours. But is anyone completely free of such distractions? According to our data, only about 14% of you say that you've never gotten in touch with or been contacted by a colleague about work during nonwork hours. On the other hand, about one-fifth say even the wee hours between midnight and 4 a.m. aren't off limits. Insomnia, anyone?
