Industries like machinery and aerospace are ready to take advantage of better conditions in the Canadian manufacturing sector.

The past decade saw a 20% drop in the number of Canadian manufacturing firms. But companies that survived are stronger and ready to thrive in the coming years, says a report from CIBC World Markets. Among the sectors ready to take advantage of better conditions are wood products, primary metals, machinery and aerospace.
