About our first annual volunteer awards

We are recognizing our volunteers for their outstanding contribution and significant impact to the accounting profession.

Calling on volunteers is an integral component of the profession’s strategy to extend its resources and to access needed knowledge and skill sets. Volunteers continue to be the lifeblood of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and are integral to achieving our mission and vision.

In celebration of Volunteer Month in June, we would like to recognize and acknowledge our volunteers from across many committees, boards, advisory groups and task forces, as well as our many financial literacy volunteers, with our First Annual CPA Canada Volunteer Awards.

A call for nominations began in June, and the winners will be announced at a special awards gala presentation on October 26, 2016, in Toronto.
