CPA Canada and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators
Build on the fundamental principles you covered in the first part of this program. Over the course of eight online modules and two formative case studies, you will refine your expertise in valuation for financial reporting.
Learn to accurately analyze impairment, determine the correct approach to valuing intangible assets and distinguish your role and responsibilities as a valuator from audit teams and management when performing engagements.
You’ll also complete two in-depth case studies that are grounded in real-life examples so you can apply what you’ve learned about fair valuation and receive expert feedback.
Note: Part 2 can be taken individually or paired with Part 1 to earn the VFR Certificate.
