Participate in this Auditing and Assurance Board (AASB) webinar to learn more about the AASB’s proposals for reporting on compliance.
CPA Canada and the AASB
The Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB) has issued a re-exposure draft proposing two new standards to address reporting on compliance. Canadian Standard on Assurance Engagements (CSAE) 3530, Special Considerations – Attestation Engagements to Report on Compliance, and CSAE 3531, Special Considerations – Direct Engagements to Report on Compliance, will replace existing standards dealing with issuing special reports.
To align with recently issued standards on assurance engagements, CSAE 3530 and CSAE 3531 contain more requirements and application material than the existing standards, particularly around performing these engagements. The report is also significantly different.
This is an interactive webinar where participants are able to provide feedback throughout.
