Wab Kinew

Wab is associate vice-president for Indigenous Relations at the University of Winnipeg and a correspondent with Aljazeera America. He was named one of “nine Aboriginal movers and shakers you should know” by Postmedia News. In 2012, he hosted the acclaimed documentary series 8th Fire. Wab’s hip-hop music and journalism projects have won numerous awards, and he is the author of the book The Reason You Walk.
