Terrance Carter is Managing Partner of Carters Professional Corporation.  Terrance practices in the area of charity and not-for-profit law, and is counsel to Fasken Martineau on charitable matters.

Terrance is a co-author of Corporate and Practice Manual for Charitable and Not-for-Profit Corporations published by Thomson Reuters, a co-editor of Charities Legislation & Commentary, co-author of Branding and Copyright Handbook for Charities and Non-Profit Organizations, as well as contributing author to The Management of Nonprofit and Charitable Organizations in Canada, and Industry Canada’s Primer for Directors of Not-For-Profit Corporations. 

Terrance is recognized as a leading expert in Canada by Lexpert and Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of charity and not-for-profit law, and is a Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association and Ontario Bar Association Charities and Not-for-Profit Law Sections.
