Taryn Abate CPA, CA, CPA (IL)

Taryn is a principal at Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in the Research, Guidance and Support group. She works closely with the Practitioner’s Technical Advisory Board and other accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE) and assurance related task forces to develop practical, understandable and timely guidance on various accounting and assurance application issues. Taryn works collaboratively with external stakeholders, volunteers and subject experts to provide the appropriate guidance to ensure Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs) are well informed and appropriately supported to respond effectively to market demands and, more specifically, to apply the standards.
