Stuart Barr

Stuart is assistant auditor general, Professional Practices, with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada and is responsible for the office's audit methodology, quality assurance and related training. He currently serves as a member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB), the Canadian Public Sector Accounting Discussion Group and committees of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions. Stuart was a member of the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) Financial Instruments Task Force from 2005 to 2011. He is a CPA, CMA and has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Lakehead University.
