Sean Murphy

Sean is a senior manager in Deloitte’s Cross Border Private Wealth Tax practice in Toronto. Sean has more than 10 years of professional experience specializing in Canadian and U.S. cross border tax situations for individuals. His professional experience includes Canadian and U.S. personal tax compliance, managing global expatriate engagements, and advising high net worth individuals on cross border tax issues and planning. In addition, Sean assists companies with tax issues relating to their frequent business traveler populations and global mobility policy development.

Sean has a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo, and is both a Chartered Professional Accountant of Canada and a U.S. Certified Public Accountant. He completed Parts I and II of the CICA (Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants) in-depth taxation courses.
