Sarah Boon

Sarah is the corporate controller at Methanex Corporation, where she is responsible for ensuring the effective management of all corporate and operational financial reporting for the company and management of the global budget reporting process. She has held this role since February 2014. Prior to joining Methanex, Sarah worked at KPMG, where she earned her CPA designation and worked for more than 12 years in the audit practice in increasingly senior roles.

Sarah is the vice-chair of the board of Family Services of Greater Vancouver and a board member for the Family Services of Greater Vancouver Foundation. She is also an active volunteer with Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) and Futurpreneur, two organizations that provide mentorship and support for entrepreneurs. Sarah lives in Vancouver with her husband and three very busy young kids.
