Robert has more than 30 years of experience. For most of his career, he has been a partner or professional in a national practice, where he helps his clients find concrete, tailored solutions to complex accounting problems. Thanks to his strong practical and commercial experience, Robert is fully versed in the latest accounting requirements.

As a partner in a major accounting firm, Robert was responsible for matters of public sector accounting in Quebec. In that capacity, he has actively engaged in helping numerous organizations and governments in interpreting existing accounting standards or assessing the consequences of new public sector accounting standards.

Projects he has carried out include assessing the effects of new regulations on transfer payments and the analysis and interpretation of the new financial instruments standards. He prepared an expert witness report for a government regarding a retirement plan issue. Robert worked for several governments and a long list of entities in the public sector.

As a member of the Accounting Standards Board (AcSB) from 1998 to 2005, Robert participated in the development of numerous standards including future employee benefits.
