Robert Correll, CPA, CA Consultant, Public Sector Accounting Board

Bob is a consultant to the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB). In this role, he conducts research, analyzes financial reporting issues, facilitates task force meetings, prepares proposals for public comment and summarizes comments received for deliberation by PSAB.

He successfully facilitated the development of a public sector reporting standard for financial instruments and conducted the initial series of consultations on the adoption of public sector accounting standards by not-for-profit organizations. He currently leads PSAB’s project to develop a public sector accounting standard for revenue and is the staff resource for the Public Sector Accounting Discussion Group, a committee of PSAB.

Prior to joining PSAB, Bob was a PSAB board member for three years and an audit partner of a national accounting firm for fifteen years.
