Richard Ballance

Richard is senior advisor of the Canada Disability Savings Program at Employment and Social Development Canada. He has been involved in all facets of the development and implementation of the program since 2007. He participated in the initial consultations with the Canadian Financial Services Industry, worked on the development of the automated granting system, and is responsible for leading the development of legislative, regulatory and policy initiatives. He was previously with the Canada Education Savings Program, and has 17 years of experience working with the financial services sector.
