As director of tax planning at BMO Wealth Management, Peggy develops customized strategies for financially successful clients and their families to help them achieve their financial goals. She works as part of a collaborative team with BMO colleagues as well as external legal, tax and insurance advisors. Peggy brings nearly three decades of tax, estate and succession planning experience to the BMO Group team in Atlantic Canada. In addition to her professional designations, Peggy has completed in-depth income tax training and she is certified as a family council facilitator by Canadian Association of Family Enterprise. Peggy is a member of Womens’ Presidents Organization, serves on the advisory board for the Dalhousie University Centre for Family Business and Regional Prosperity, and is chair of the audit committee for Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Canada. She’s also one of three public representatives on the council for the Nova Scotia Barristers Society and serves on the executive and finance committees. Peggy is a past governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation and has volunteered with a number of professional and charitable organizations.
