Paul Puscasu

Paul Puscasu is a Controller in the Midstream Division at AltaGas. In his current role, Paul leads a group of accounting professionals and supports the finance function in all aspects like financial accounting and reporting, joint venture, production accounting, capital and related IT systems. With over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Paul is a business partner for the leadership team and plays a key role in developing the strategy by balancing core financial responsibilities with strong leadership abilities.

At AltaGas, Paul built a high performing finance team, a leader in the Canadian midstream space. He believes that acting with integrity, investing in people and fostering diversity is critical to achieving results.

Outside of the office, Paul is committed to professional education and coaching. He is currently President with Petroleum Accountants Society of Canada (PASC) a non-for profit professional organization that helps its members achieve their full potential and stay current in the face of today’s challenges.

When he is not injured, Paul plays soccer as a goalie and is also training his daughter’s team.
