Patricia Gonsalves, CPA, CA

As an associate of national assurance standards at BDO Canada LLP, Patricia assists partners and staff in the interpretation of professional standards related to assurance engagements. She is also involved in quality assurance, training, technical research and publications.

Patricia is a former board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton/Burlington and a former member of the finance committee of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA). She was also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) task force which developed guidance on applying the Canadian Auditing Standards to not-for-profit organizations, and a board member of the CPA Canada Board of Evaluators.

Patricia is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
