Nazma Lee

Nazma Lee is Senior Legal Counsel in Corporate Finance at the British Columbia Securities Commission. Since joining the Commission in 2009, Nazma has worked on various policy projects, with a current focus on diversity and climate-related disclosures. Nazma also works on the BC staff team that handles M&A, take-over bid and proxy-related complaints and hearings. Prior to joining the Commission, Nazma spent two years with an international law firm in London, UK. Before moving to London, Nazma practiced securities law at a large national firm in Vancouver, BC. Nazma was called to the bar in BC in 2004 and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts degree (International Relations) from the University of British Columbia.
