Mike Savage

Mike is the partner and practice leader for Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services for Ernst & Young in Canada. He designed EY’s global anti-fraud solution methodology.

Mike is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, is Certified in Financial Forensics and is a faculty member of the Directors College, a Director certification program founded by McMaster University, the DeGroote School of Business and the Conference Board of Canada.

He has experience dealing with whistleblowers, fraud detection, fraud prevention programs, forensic accounting investigation, litigation support and dispute resolution. He has investigated allegations of asset misappropriation, corrupt practices and financial statement fraud, and has testified in formal proceedings. He has worked extensively in North America as well as places such as Hong Kong, China, Australia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, much of Europe and Brazil, and throughout Africa.

Mike has authored a number of publications and presented at the international conference of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
